Welcome to our new pub, the Royal George, which we named after the Royal George Inn, originally a few doors along from us on George Street, built around 1868 but sadly demolished in 1965.

With a minimum of five IPAs on rotation there’s always something new to try.
Our staff are more than happy to recommend their current favourite pint, or help you find yours!
We also offer a vast selection of flavoured and dry gins with pairings, as well as selected fine whiskeys, premium spirits, characterful wines, and many house-spirit offers.
We are known for our cocktails and ever changing menus, expect to see the classics and a few new things too.

Our food menu caters for all tastes – proper burgers, fish & chips, sandwiches and the pub classics – with our popular roasts being served up every Sunday. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
